Born and raised in Los Angeles, I loved sports for as long as I can remember. In fact, I wanted to be a point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers once upon a time, but eventually realized those career aspirations weren't so realistic for a white Jewish kid. So, I set my sights on sports journalism.
After earning a journalism degree from San Diego State University and working for NBC, ESPN and the Los Angeles Angels' radio station, I left the media industry to start a digital marketing consultancy that would eventually grow an international clientele in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
When I'm not working, I enjoy playing and coaching basketball, watching documentaries and stand-up comedy, reading self-help books, and traveling.
