How I Work

PHASE 1: TIP-OFF 🏀
During Tip-Off, we discover and uncover the heart of your brand (or brand-to-be). We discuss where you’ve been, where you are, and where you need to go. Tip-Off is unique to each client, therefore requiring an individualized approach to content, customer experience and engagement, and digital marketing strategy.
To identify each eyelash and freckle of your brand, we analyze everything: content, social, websites, email, mobile, advertising, personas, customer experience, competitors and more. I don’t expect you to have all this information pulled together and tied with a ribbon—I help gather the resources necessary to complete the Tip-Off phase.
After the Tip-Off, I won’t claim to know your brand better than you do, but that’s my goal.
DURATION: 14 days
PHASE 2: THE GAME PLAN 🏀
Once we’ve won the Tip-Off and discovered where you are and where your competitors are, it’s time get to you moving in the right direction, fast.
In Phase 2, we tackle the questions you’ve been asking yourself for months, maybe even years, including:
- What type of content should you be creating?
- How can we best tell your brand story?
- What digital media best supports your content?
- How often should you post on social media?
- How can we build your email subscriber list?
- Is anyone using Twitter and Snapchat anymore?
- What is the value of video content, and how much should you invest in it?
- How can you amplify your content internally?
- How can you make the most of influencer marketing?
- What metrics should you focus on when measuring the strategy's effectiveness?
- What tools should you be using to measure our social media?
- How can we tie social media advertising to email and Web behavior?
When answering these questions (and many more), I will prepare you and your team to step into the driver's seat with a comprehensive, ready-to-implement Game Plan, which will include some combination of:

- Social Media Strategy and Measurement
- Email Marketing Strategy and Measurement
- Amplification Strategy and Measurement
- Online Customer Experience Strategy and Measurement
DURATION: 21 days
PHASE 3: FULL-COURT PRESS 🏀
Once delivered, the Game Plan is a gift and a curse. Yes, you now have a recipe for taking your digital marketing success to the next level. However, the plan will invariably recommend change, and change can be difficult and uncomfortable. I’ve learned (the hard way, unfortunately) that if I hand over a Game Plan and immediately part ways, my client's chance for meaningful success is diminished significantly. No one wants that.
Enter Full-Court Press.
In this final phase, I work with you and/or your team to implement the Game Plan. Or, if you need a third-party individual to implement the Game Plan for you, I will source, interview and provide you with up to three recommendations in your local area.
Either way, we meet virtually every two weeks to check progress, optimize the plan (because digital, in particular, changes all the time), train you and/or your team on new tactics, and journey together on a trajectory of success. (Of course, I'm available via email in between virtual meetings.)
